THESE SESSIONS ARE ALL ABOUT LEARNING THE ROPES OF WHY WE DO CROSSFIT AND HOW WE DO IT.
YOU ARE REQUIRED TO MOVE IN THESE SESSIONS SO YOU’LL NEED TO DRESS ACCORDINGLY AND BRING A DRINK.
DON’T BE AFRAID TO ASK AS MANY QUESTIONS DURING THESE FIRST 3 SESSIONS, WE ARE PRETTY FRIENDLY.
THESE ARE A NECESSITY TO JOIN CLASSES AS THEY GIVE THE KNOWLEDGE AND CONFIDENCE TO PERFORM CROSSFIT CORRECTLY.

ASSESSMENT & BASIC MOVEMENT SERIES

In this session, we will be getting to know you and your body, your strengths and weaknesses. Why you may be suffering from a nagging sore back day in day out, why you still can’t feel your stomach muscles after having a baby- what ever may be the issue we can give personal cues to help you fix it. If your body is a well oiled machine, there is still plenty to take in.

GYMNASTIC SERIES

We will now teach you how to control your own bodyweight, no weights will be used in this session. You will get to understand about progression so you won’t feel sick when you see ‘Handstand Pushups’. You may go home with some new tricks to practice.

WEIGHT LIFTING SERIES

Now we play around with the funny looking weights, we will tell you how to lift different weights in different ways and how to drop them safely, we give you the ‘know how’ of how to get stronger.

WORKOUT & FAMILIARISATION SERIES

The last session before you start classes. We make sure you know where everything is and how a class works with a workout at your level. All the practice comes into play. Have fun!
